We plan one residency for each grade K-5. Each resident artist will visit every classroom (9-11 total classrooms per grade) in 3 different schools: Coffin, Harriet Beecher Stowe and St John's Catholic School .
Please see our links, 2008/2009; 2009/2010; 2010/2011; 2011/2012 for examples of residencies that have been presented in the past few years. For an idea of numbers of classrooms and class sizes for each grade, please click here. St John's Catholic school has one classroom for each grade except kindergarten which has two classrooms. Class size varies from 13-25 students.
Send a resume and full description of your proposed workshop: including which grade(s) you prefer to work with, dates you are available, how many visits you'd like to make to each classroom and the duration of each visit, fee requirements, specific ways in which your residency ties into the curriculum, any opportunities for professional development training for teachers, materials budget, references if available, photos, and any other information you'd like us to have.
