​2023-2024 Artist Residencies

  • Emilia Dahlin is an award-winning singer/songwriter and teaching artist. Her engaging pre-K programs are filled with singing, movement, story, and sensory play. 

  • Magically creative mixed media artist Bridget Matros will help kindergarteners engage with their inner artist selves in fall, winter, & spring.

  • Catherine Worthington is a mixed media textile artist, surface designer, and instructor. She will help 1st Graders & Multi-agers create 4 part banners showing the life cycle of the sunflower.

  • 2nd Graders will be creating theatrical mini diorama animal books showing the complete biology and life history of their animal with artist & cartographer Jill Osgood.

  • Dawn Prindall and Virginia Brown will lead 3rd Graders down the path of discovry to learn the connection between art & poetry by creating beautiful abstract watercolor ink blots and free verse poetry.

  • 4th Grade will explore force & motion through circus skills with Janoah Bailin, a circus performer & instructor specializing in juggling & unicycling. 

  • 5th Grade will be learning about Wabanaki Art and Culture through student driven conversations with basketmaker and former Penobscot Nation Chief Barry Dana. We're grateful to the Nathaniel Davis Fund for providing funding to support this residency.
