Especially during this pandemic, I feel so very fortunate to live in Maine. So much of my writing/painting is a love letter to this state. Who wouldn't want to wake up here?

Medium: Serigraph print (8 colors)
Inspired by a photograph of the Bekaa Valley in ARAMCO magazine, this 8-color serigraph print offers an abstract, geometric impression of the “bread basket” of Lebanon. This print is number 5 in an edition of 10. It was juried into the 11th Annual Yarmouth Art Festival in October, 2019 where number 3 was sold. It was one of 170 pieces chosen from 626 entries.

Fire Suite 2 is the second in a series of five different images I made to suggest the energy and heat of fire and human passions. By creating visual texture and layered dimensionality, I disguise the materiality of glass and evoke an imaginative world of light—movement, color, and shadow—without reference to specific objects.
