Arts Are Elementary is pleased to announce that Jennifer Burns Gray has been hired as Executive Director.
Gray most recently served as the Director of Advocacy for the Maine Association of Nonprofits and the Maine Philanthropy Center. Previously, she was the Maine Audubon’s Staff Attorney and Advocate for twenty years. Gray holds a B.A. from Trinity College in CT, and a J.D. from the University Of Maine School Of Law. Gray has four children, all of whom have enjoyed the Brunswick School system. She currently resides in Brunswick with her family, and is excited to have the opportunity to share the AAE mission with the greater Brunswick community.

With Jenn’s knowledge and experience in fundraising and community development, in combination with her love and appreciation of art educational opportunities for children, the AAE Board believes Gray can help take the AAE mission to a whole new level. We are excited to see what lies ahead for AAE in the coming years,” said Deb Leslie, AAE Board Chairperson.
Since 1980, Arts Are Elementary has worked in partnership with local schools to provide every public K-5 classroom in Brunswick with professional artist residencies. Arts Are Elementary is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, funded through donations.
