Full Plates Quilt by Bethany Reynolds


Artist Information: Bethany grew up on Mount Desert Island, Maine, where her family has lived for many generations She has been quilting and teaching since 1982. The originator of Stack-n-Whack® has a knack for finding ways to get great results with less work, and loves sharing her tricks. She has taught at major shows, including the American Quilter’s Society show and International Quilt Festival, and has been a guest on several television quilting programs, including Simply Quilts. She has written six books published by the American Quilter's Society.

Art Creation: FULL PLATES This quilt is featured in one of her how-to titles, “Magic Quilts by the Slice.” The dramatic kaleidoscope blocks are created using her innovative Stack-n-Whack® technique. The all-cotton fabrics and batting make this a cozy throw quilt, and a sleeve on the back allows for easy wall display.
