2017-18 Residencies

• Kindergarten will be on the move with their Body in Motion residency with dancer Elly Lovin.

• First Grade & Multi-Age will work on fine motor skills during their Paint & Sew a Quilt Square with textile artist, Catherine Worthington.

​

• Second Grade will discover geometric patterns in nature during their Tessellations in Nature Using Animal Patterns residency with visual artist, Jude Valentine.      

​

• Third grade will explore the connection between art and poetry during their Poetry & Heliographic Printmaking with Dawn Prindall & Virginia Brown.

​

• Fourth Grade will get dirty as they create their own stone fossil during their residency, Alabaster Soft Stone Carving with artist Anne Alexander.

​

• Fifth Grade will connect poetry and history in their residency, Revolutionary War-themed slam poetry with Kate Nicoll & Laura Cowie of Unwritten Roads.
